Job Description:
The RoleAs a Customer Solutions Sr.
Business Analyst, you will work on the Digital Engagement & Personalization for Financial Help squad which is within the Retirement Income Services and Financial Wellness product area.
The key focus of this team is to develop curated tools and experiences that enable long-term planning for workplace accumulators on the NetBenefits platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of this critical product that drives growth for Fidelity while working with various teams to make a difference.
Due to the high visibility of this product area, we are seeking a strong, motivated teammate who can multi-task.
This role will be responsible for the effort to elicit requirements, build user stories and acceptance criteria, complete business acceptance test plans and contribute to go-to-market activities for key product improvements.
Attributes that lead to success in this role include having an agile mindset with a high level of curiosity, tenacity to follow up on details to gain a complete understanding of a problem with the ability to proactively identify and prioritize next steps and a sense of ownership.
The Expertise & Skills You BringBachelor's degree preferredProven knowledge (5
years) of business analyst techniques, for example:
current state analysis, business rules analysis, requirements gathering and analysis, crafting user stories, user acceptance testing and product documentation.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to write clear, concise product documentationConfidence to provide constructive input to drive future process improvementsConfidence to present to large audiences and strong presentation skills is a plusFacilitate and coordinate with multiple teams across business units, teams, squads, business partners as well as IT, Legal, Compliance & Risk stakeholders to define product features and process connection pointsFamiliar with Agile methodologies and scrum tools such as JIRA, Mural and MS Teams, to assist with defining Epics and StoriesParticipate and /or facilitate the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Release Planning, Sprint Reviews and RetrospectivesOutstanding listening, written communication, and verbal skills with ability to speak to a broad audienceIf new functionality is being built/updated, you will collaborate with the Quality Engineers on a test strategy as well as perform Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and production validationFull MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel experience is a mustProven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsQuality, accuracy, and timeliness are essential to the success of this functionThe Value You DeliverComfortable with change and ability to adjust as neededSelf-starter, independent and can work without close supervisionAbility to visualize holistically and work broadly (not in a silo)Must be highly motivated with a point of view and be professionally outspokenMust be comfortable with taking on leadership tasksMust be dependable, positive, and resistantAbility to develop strong relationships as the foundation of influenceTeam building and driving work successfullyPlease see below for the salary range for work locations in Colorado only:
