Job Description:
The RoleThe Finance Senior Manager, Business Performance and Insights within the Brokerage Finance team will deliver the data, strategic insights and analysis to advise business strategy and decision making, measure and evaluate business performance, and monitor key initiatives. You will be responsible for producing accurate high-quality financial, customer, and product data as well as other ad hoc analyses for team members, business partners, and senior leaders. This role will provide an opportunity to work across the company and partner with other finance teams across the firm.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred 5
years' progressive work experience in data analytics, decision support, and/or FP&A Expertise and high degree of interest in working with large, complex datasets related to customers and products using data analysis tools such as SQL. Experience with reporting and visualization apps including PowerBI, Tableau, Thinkcell, Business Objects, SQL, MS Excel & PowerPoint) At least a foundational understanding of micro/firm level economics and managerial finance principles, P&L concepts, and financial data and reporting Experience with financial analysis projects such as business case analysis, pricing models or forecast models is preferred Applicants should have strong analytic skills, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. A learning mind-set and flexibility to work on varied projects are essential to success in the role Bring a proactive approach and operate with agility. Sensitivity and responsiveness to business partner priorities is crucial Intellectually curious, ability to connect the dots, pays close attention to detail to ensure quality output and analyses Strong attention to detail and quality, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of comfort with detailed processes, data, and working in sometimes ambiguous situations Ability to handle a broad portfolio of work; must possess excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills including ability to run multiple parallel streams of work and multiple business partners Excellent interpersonal skills along with an ability to work confidently and build positive relationships across all levels of the organization The Value You Deliver Coordinating and execution of broad projects important to senior leadership Sourcing information and synthesizing insights for senior management Driving sound decision making for the business Ensure consistency in analysis approach, standards for data and definitions. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
