Minimum 2
years in a related Admissions or Business Development position within long-term care or related healthcare setting 3-4 years of experience in sales/marketing position, or with a heavy emphasis on customer service.
A background in community involvement is preferred.
Associates degree in an appropriate field.
Bachelor's degree preferred Two years equivalent experience in sales/marketing position or Admissions Director position will be considered in lieu of a degree Previous health care community relations experience Must have a valid driver's license Must have a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and goal orientation Expert ability to make sales calls and develop business relationships with referral sources through the use of time/territory key account management principles.
Expert ability at making affective (persuasive) presentations and public speaking.
Demonstrate self-confidence.
Expert ability to use the telephone as a sales tool, with an aptitude for translating phone contacts into service provider - customer business relationships.
Proficient use their knowledge of Windows office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to learn specialized computer applications (RTS, AllScripts, Edischarge) that are specific to handling job requirements.
Working knowledge (or the ability to learn) of health care reimbursement program (payer sources).
Ability to develop professional working relationships and communicate effectively with multiple constituencies - residence, family members, medical community professionals, Community opinion leaders, fellow Marquis associates, etc.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis.
Excellent organizational skills and documentation orientation.
Ability to work flexible hours, as admission/marketing responsibilities may dictate COVID Vaccination Required
Summary:
Responsible to build and grow total census and Medicare census by developing the relationships within the market and providing prospective residents and/or the representatives with the information and assistance that is appropriate when considering the selection of a Marquis Nursing Center.
The AD spends his/her time engaged in revenue-generating activities:
managing census and payer mix, inquiry management, external sales calls and community outreach.
The AD also spends time engaged in non-revenue generating activities:
customer services/satisfaction, public relations, administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Maintains a strong professional relationship with Executive Director and other center department heads and managers.
Works under the direction of the Director of Admissions Services.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
