Key responsibilities include: Maintaining scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: H.V.A.C., elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, etc.
Performing general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical, carpentry work, painting and equipment repair
Responding to resident maintenance requests for items needing repair in their rooms
Repairing and maintaining vacated rooms in a timely manner, including painting walls and cleaning carpets
Maintaining positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other jurisdictions governing the community

We seek the following
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED
One (1) year of general maintenance experience in a residential setting (painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
Knowledge of building equipment, codes and systems in a healthcare setting
Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families and other associates at all levels of the organization
Flexibility with schedule
Must enjoy working with the senior population
