Description:
The End User Support Specialists within PWI Technology provides technology leadership, while providing effective relationship management to the business. Determine plans on how our company can realize the benefits of technology expenditure to meet our company?s goal of life time relationships with high value individual investors. Using a consultative style, develop implementable roadmaps to address complex business needs and then implement the business solutions within the boundaries of a defined program. We are looking to provide the right candidate to execute on multiple business priorities and sustaining high level of delivery of results.
Primary Responsibilities:
Designs support systems for testing and implementation of new technologies
Has tactical responsibility for completion and implementation of multiple major initiatives
Produces and presents gap analyses, diagrams business processes and system workflows
Evaluates design of proposed systems/alternatives to predict their functionality, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability and cost of ownership
Performs data analysis focused on discovery of trends; summarizes data for Engineering and stakeholders
Prepares systems requirements specifications, test strategies and test plans
Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s degree preferred
6+ years? experience in systems and desktop support and systems engineering, product management or related role
3+ years? experience in financial services company
Software development lifecycle management a plus
Skills and Knowledge:
A passion and intellectual curiosity around effective collaboration with team, business partners and vendors across geography
Provides design direction and support for HTML, Flash and desktop applications
In-depth knowledge of advanced configurations, network connectivity and multiple technologies such as PC, network, video and/or mobility
Applying product knowledge to customer relationship management to identify and capitalize on opportunities
Full project life cycle experience including user experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
