Description:
The Systems Project Manager will be working with our company's Customer Warehouse Environment (CWE) platform, which consumes, stores, and makes available Marketing, Campaign, Contact History, Customer Profile, and Web data for use in operational reporting and analytics / modeling.
The successful candidate will create and manage to the detailed project work plan, estimation of work effort, detailed management of the work activities in conformance to the milestones and deliverables within the work plan. The candidate will provide continuous oversight to meet planned dates, manage change control, utilizing governance channels for effective project status, risk, issue and dependency communication, working with Leadership to ensure resources and support are adequately assigned. The candidate will ensure delivery of a software solution that meets the business needs and conforms to the enterprise architectural, developmental process, and quality standards and practices.
Experience working with off-shore development teams & contractors is required. Prior experience in leading very large data warehouse projects is ideal. Exposure to big-data echo system a plus. S/he will be called upon to set guidelines and standards that will allow our teams to continue to deliver important and vital solutions for our customers with the highest quality. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and should be able to move seamlessly between multiple initiatives. Project Management
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall project management of the assigned projects from initiation to closure
Accountable for project results
Remove or escalate road blocks to allow development team to progress
Manage and control change
Understand business outcomes and how to achieve them
Planning and Tracking
Responsibilities:
Prepare/Maintain project planning documents o Estimates, Project Plans, Release and Iteration Plan, RAID, Burn Down Charts, Staffing Allocation Ramps, Roadmaps
Plan and coordinate all meetings/workshops/sessions
Create and obtain approval of integrated project plan.
Collect and analyze project metrics and take corrective and preventive actions as appropriate.
Participate in defect prioritization and defect triaging.
Create User Stories in cooperation with the development team and decompose into tasks
Staffing and Resourcing
Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the project/team structure i.e. roles and responsibilities
Assign work to resources and monitor the progress
Identify potential staffing gaps or risks
Methodology Compliance
Responsibilities:
Mastery of project management concepts and methodologies to include Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
Issue and Risk Management
Responsibilities:
Identify risks, track, and work to mitigate
Maintain a RAID document
Communication
Responsibilities:
Must communicate well with team members, business partners, cross company partners, and vendors
Must be able to lead a matrixed project team
Must be able to facilitate discussion and alternatives or different approaches to project work
Must work to bring disclose and transparency to stakeholders about development and foster an environment of trust
Qualifications:
8
years experience managing software development or large data projects
3
years experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
PMP or CSM a plus
Investment or financial services experience is desirableEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
