Description:
The FIT Release Management team is responsible for providing Release Management support to all of the units within the Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) group. FIT supports the company's Institutional businesses, including: Capital Markets, Operations & Services Group, National Financial, Institutional Wealth Services, and Family Office Services. The Release Management team is responsible for the coordination of release level activities, including release planning, issue management, status reporting, and implementation. We are seeking a Release Management Analyst to join the FIT Release Management Team. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. This Release Management Analyst will be responsible for working in a team environment to provide Release Management services to FIT.
Release Planning
Establish release models to provide framework for application installs
Analyze cross-project dependencies, application changes, and project drivers to efficiently package releases
Release Issue Management (a.k.a. Release Governance)
Facilitate release-level meetings with project and application support teams to manage cross-project issue resolution
Participate in release change management meetings and facilitate release checkpoint meetings
Communicate release status
Release Implementation
Create and manage detailed project plans for release implementation tasks
Facilitate release retrospective meetings and influence the implementation of process improvements
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably BS
4
years IT experience, preferably with the following background:
Financial services industry, including brokerage platform (company experience is preferable)
Analysis and/or project management skills
Skills and Knowledge
Strong analytical and/or project management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate large meetings at disparate locations
Ability to multi-task, learn and synthesize complex information quickly, and drive results
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to partner with and work across various functions and levels within the organization
Formal development lifecycle knowledge, including waterfall and agile methodologies
Ability to respectfully challenge peers and management and to accept and respond to challenge from peers and management
Ability to work as a team player and influence the implementation of process improvements across several groups within the organizationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
