Position: Laboratory Quality Control Analyst
Location: Smithfield, RI
Projected duration: 6 months
Duties:
Perform all lab functions in compliance with cGMP Follow written procedures and USP/EP/JP Compendial Methods such as Appearance, ID, pH, Melting Point and Assay Provide lab support including reagent preparation, cleaning, and routine equipment maintenance Recognize and report aberrant test results and sample conditions
Ensure training is current for all job functions performed Receive and sample bulk raw materials for QC testing
Receive and maintain custody of raw material samples that come into the lab for testing Order, stock and receive laboratory supplies
Complete all required documentation legibly and accurately Work on problems of limited scope and apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Build stable working cross functional relationships
Skills:
0 - 3 Years of Experience
Working knowledge of the cGMP QC laboratory environment and basic equipment.
Ability to follow written procedures with close attention to detail Knowledge and understanding of the compendia (USP/EP/JP)
Ability to function with general supervision for routine job duties
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel Works
Will work in team environment
Education:
AS / BS in chemistry or biological science.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
