Vehicle Description The 1955 Imperial was launched and registered as a separate marque, apart from the Chrysler brand.
It was a product of the new Imperial Division of Chrysler Corporation, meaning that the Imperial would be its own make and division, and not bear the Chrysler name.
The FirePower V8 engine was Chrysler's first-generation Hemi with a displacement of 331 cu in and developing 250 brake horsepower.
Power brakes and power steering were standard, along with Chrysler's PowerFlite automatic transmission.
This is a nice running and driving Imperial Sedan.
It starts easily, however is a little cold blooded, great brakes and steering, older amateur paint job and presentable interior.
Old paint job with some previous rust repair in the lower questers and fenders.
Options including Power windows and seats and wire wheels.
Radio and windows working, as well as heater.

-Headliner and windlace -replaced king pins -Rebuilt Carburetor -6 new wheel cylinders -3 Brake hoses -Front wheel seals, and inner and outer wheel bearings (front) -All 8 brake shoes relined and arched -4 brake drums turned -Rear axle bearings, inner and outer axle seals -Moulded upper and lower radiator hoses -Power steering return hose -Spark plugs and wires -4 Fan belts -Brake light switch -Rebuilt master cylinder with more modern power booster -Left outer tie rod -Tranny pan gasket and tranny flush -Rear axle gear lube -Engine oil and filter -Rebuilt water pump -Flushed block and 50/50 coolant -Rebuilt fuel pump -Rubber fuel hose -Battery cables -Rebuilt vacuum secondary control on carb -Steamed interior fabric.
